Say hello

Layer Two is a small, independent explainer. If something is unclear, wrong, or could be said with a better analogy, a short note helps more than you might think.

The address is hello@layertwo.org. You can also let this page draft the message for you below, then open it in your own email app. Nothing is sent from here: your browser simply hands the draft to the program you already use.

What helps most

  • Corrections. If a definition is loose or a claim is too strong, say which sentence and why. Accuracy matters more than polish here.
  • Confusing moments. Tell us where you stopped following. That is usually a missing analogy, and those are the easiest to fix.
  • Tool bugs. Name the page, what you typed, and what you saw. The simulator and explorer handle odd input, but they are not perfect.
  • Your own analogy. If you explained channels to a friend using something we have not thought of, we would love to read it.

Think of the email as a postcard to whoever keeps the notebook: short, specific and easy to answer.

What this page does and does not do.

  • It never sends anything. The form builds a mailto: link in your browser. Whether a message leaves your device is decided in your own email app, when you press send there.
  • Nothing is stored. The draft lives in the page while it is open. Close the tab and it is gone.
  • If nothing opens, your device may not have an email app set up for links like this. Use the copy button, and paste the text into any mail program, addressed to hello@layertwo.org.
  • No phone, no postal address. Email is the only way to reach this project.
